Time with Yuhui in Shanxi: The Second Stop — Linfen, Shanxi
On the early morning of June 13, The "Time with Yuhui" special tour in Shanxi officially kicked off its second stop in Linfen.

Scenic Spot 1 - Hukou Waterfall

Hukou Waterfall is the largest golden waterfall in the world. When the Yellow River reaches Ji County, Linfen City in the southwest of Shanxi province, it suddenly narrows to just over 20 meters, and the waterfall falls as high as more than 30 meters. That's why people think “the Yellow River of the section suddenly narrows as if pouring down from a huge teapot”.
Standing in front of Hukou Waterfall, one can truly sense the awesome power of the surging water, the deafening roar, and the breathtaking sight of the waves crashing against the shore. Beside the waterfall, the Weifeng Gong and Drum performance resounds like spring thunder, while the melodies of the Yellow River Cantata stir the hearts of all.
Scenic Spot 2 - Xiaoxitian Temple in Xi County

During this trip, Yu Minhong made a surprise appearance, reuniting with Dong Yuhui once again.
Xi County is a small town that emerged from The Book of Songs. Among the 15 chapters of The Book of Songs, the character "Xi" is mentioned 26 times.
At the top of Fenghuang Mountain, there is a Zen Buddhist Monastery named "Qianfo'an", also known as "Xiaoxitian". The temple is built in a tiered manner along the mountain, with its beams and rafters decorated with rich and elegant painted carvings that are quite distinctive. It can be regarded as "the peerless masterpiece of hanging sculpture" in the history of Chinese sculpture art. The rare official Ming Dynasty’s edition of the Yongle Northern Tripitaka preserved in the monastery is a rare treasure for studying the history of Chinese Buddhism, the history of Tibetan Buddhist scriptures, ethics, and folk custom.
Inside the small hall of over one hundred square meters, there are over a thousand "hanging" painted sculptures. After more than three hundred years, thousands of wall sculptures and painted sculptures remain unaffected. The largest sculpture is up to two or three meters tall, and the smallest is only as big as a thumb. These sculptures create a magnificent Sukhavati (Western Pure Land),and are regarded as "the last masterpiece of the hanging sculpture art".
Walking side by side with Yuhui's footsteps, we fully appreciate the magnificent scenery, profound culture, and splendid intangible cultural heritage of Shanxi.
The exciting trip, full of charm and surprises, is still unfolding!
