2024-2025 Winter Culture and Tourism Resources and Spring Festival Special Activities in Shanxi Province —— Ice and Snow Vacation Edition
2024-2025冬季文旅资源和春节特色主题活动以“三晋迎春冬乐民俗”为主题，自2024年12月1日（农历十一月初一）至2025年2月13日（农历正月十六）组织民俗社火、冰雪度假、古建研学、温泉康养、冬景摄影等五个方面的260余项活动。
The winter culture and tourism resources and Spring Festival special activities for the 2024-2025 season will revolve around the theme “Celebrating Spring in Shanxi, Experiencing Winter Folk Customs.” From December 1st, 2024 (the first day of the eleventh lunar month), to February 13th, 2025 (the sixteenth day of the first lunar month), more than 260 activities will be organized across five categories: folk Shehuo, ice and snow vacations, ancient architecture research and study tours, hot spring wellness, and winter scenery photography.
山西省山地森林资源丰富，冬季漫长且结冰期长，冰雪旅游资源丰富，各地将举办观冰灯、赏冰雕、玩冰车、堆雪人、打雪仗、踩冰块、滑冰雪等冬季游玩项目。
Shanxi Province is rich in mountainous forest resources, and its winter is long with a prolonged icing period, making it abundant in ice and snow tourism resources. Various regions will hold winter recreational activities such as viewing ice lanterns, admiring ice sculptures, riding ice carts, making snowmen, playing snowball fights, walking on ice blocks, and skiing and sledding on ice and snow.
太原举办冰雪嘉年华，滑雪大众竞赛、跨年雪地音乐节等活动。其中，稻田公园拥有7万平超大雪场，包含雪地摩托等近百种冰雪游玩项目，更有观赏性和游玩性相结合的雪山动物园、雪蘑菇园等主题区域。大同开展滑冰、冰球、短道速滑、冰壶等多种冬季运动项目。晋中九龙、李宁、五龙等滑雪场，举办丰富多彩的滑雪年货节，组织冰雪摄影展、冰雪音乐会等活动。长治市欢乐太行谷景区举办“冰雪嘉年华”，让广大游客尽情感受冰雪的乐趣，寻找童年的纯真和快乐。运城绛北大峡谷举办第六届冬季冰雪活动，包括冰雪活动开幕式、冰瀑冰挂摄影大赛、美食品尝、冰雕艺术展、冰雪运动会、冰雪创意主题庙会等游玩项目。
Taiyuan will host an Ice and Snow Carnival, featuring activities such as public skiing competitions, a New Year's snow music festival, and more. The Rice Field Park, in particular, boasts a colossal 70,000-square-meter snowfield. It offers nearly a hundred ice and snow entertainment options, including snowmobiles, and themed areas like the Snow Mountain Zoo and Snow Mushroom Garden, combining scenic appreciation with playful experiences.Meanwhile, Datong will offer a variety of winter sports such as skating, ice hockey, short-track speed skating, and curling. In Jinzhong, ski resorts including Jiulong, Li-Ning, and Wulong are organizing a vibrant Ski New Year Festival. Highlights include ice and snow photography exhibitions and ice and snow concerts, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors.The Happy Taihang Valley scenic area in Changzhi City will hold an "Ice and Snow Carnival," offering tourists an immersive experience of ice and snow while evoking the innocence and joy of childhood.Meanwhile, the Jiangbei Grand Gorge in Yuncheng will host its sixth Winter Ice and Snow Festival, featuring events such as the opening ceremony, an ice waterfall and icicle photography competition, food tastings, an ice sculpture art exhibition, an ice and snow sports meet, and a creative ice and snow-themed temple fair.
