Yuncheng’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Market is Absolutely Fascinating!
乙巳春节，运城推出“非遗市集潮玩运城活动”，把传统文化玩出花，体验感直接拉满。正月初三到正月十五，在运城市博物馆南侧太乙街的市集中，分布着许多特色打卡点。每到一处，盖下专属印章，就能收集满满的好运。
During the Yi-si Spring Festival, Yuncheng launched the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Market: Trendy Yuncheng Event," bringing traditional culture to life in innovative ways and providing an immersive experience. From the third day of the Chinese New Year to the fifteenth, various unique check-in spots were scattered throughout the market on Taiyi Street, south of the Yuncheng Museum. At each location, visitors could collect a special stamp, gathering an abundance of good luck.
整个市集设置非遗亮宝、特色美食、潮玩体验、匠心文创等七个区域，40余个项目和多个打卡点。游客们不仅可以现场感受非遗体验等内容，体会传统与新潮融合的新中式场景，更能增进对非遗文化的了解，邀请全市人民和各地游客欢庆首个非遗中国年。
The entire market was divided into seven zones including Intangible Cultural Heritage Highlights, Specialty Foods, Trendy Experiences, Craftsmanship and Cultural Innovation, and more, with over 40 projects and numerous check-in spots. Visitors could not only experience intangible cultural heritage on site and immerse themselves in a new Chinese-style scene blending tradition with modernity but also enhance their understanding of intangible cultural heritage. It invited people from all over the city and tourists from various places to celebrate the first Chinese New Year dedicated to intangible cultural heritage.
逛市集同时还可以和王之涣、永乐宫神仙、“运宝”这三位超有梗的NPC互动。“运宝”作为运城非遗IP形象，可爱又吸睛，它的出现让现场的游客眼前一亮，遇到他们，大胆上前参与答题互动，就有机会获赠小礼品一份。
While wandering through the market, visitors could also interact with three memorable NPCs: Wang Zhihuan, the deities from Yongle Temple, and "Yunbao." As the IP mascot of Yuncheng's intangible cultural heritage, "Yunbao" was adorable and eye-catching, bringing a sparkle to visitors' eyes. Upon encountering them, visitors were encouraged to boldly approach and participate in question-and-answer interactions, with the chance to receive a small gift.
永济葫芦雕刻、绛州刺绣等非遗技艺让人目不暇接。葫芦雕刻师傅手下的葫芦，经过烙画、镂空雕刻后，变成了一件件精美的艺术品，福禄的美好寓意也被融入其中。要是对这些技艺感兴趣，还能在潮玩体验区深度参与。
The intangible cultural heritage skills such as Yongji gourd carving and Jiangzhou embroidery were breathtaking. The gourds crafted by the gourd carving masters, after being pyrographically drawn and hollowed out, turned into exquisite works of art, incorporating the auspicious meanings of fortune and luck. For those interested in these skills, they could deeply engage in the Trendy Experience Zone.
逛市集的同时还可以吃着非遗美食，闻喜煮饼甜而不腻、稷山麻花酥脆可口、芮城麻片薄脆香甜，每一口都是传统工艺的匠心呈现，吃进嘴里，暖在心头。
While wandering through the market, visitors could also enjoy intangible cultural heritage cuisine. Wenxi boiled cakes were sweet but not greasy, Jishan fried dough twists were crispy and delicious, and Ruicheng sesame brittle was thin, crispy, and sweet. Every bite was a manifestation of traditional craftsmanship, filling the mouth and warming the heart.
