Successful Maiden Flight of Datong-Moscow International Direct Air Route

7月6日8时50分，满载148名旅客的俄罗斯北方之星航空Y7535航班平稳降落大同云冈国际机场，标志着大同至莫斯科国际直飞航线成功首航。该航线是山西省支线机场开通的首条洲际航线，为大同与莫斯科之间搭建起一条便捷的“空中桥梁”。

At 8:50 on July 6, the Y7535 flight of Russia’s Nordstar Airlines, carrying 148 passengers, landed smoothly at Datong Yungang International Airport, marking the maiden flight of the direct international air route between Datong and Moscow. This route is the first intercontinental flight launched from a branch airport in Shanxi Province, establishing a convenient "air bridge" between Datong and Moscow.

在首航仪式现场，机坪两侧，消防水炮冲天而起，在天空中交织出晶莹剔透的“水门”，机场以民航界最高礼遇隆重迎接首航客机。

At the inaugural ceremony, firefighting water cannons arched into the sky, creating a sparkling "water salute" on both sides of the apron, as the airport warmly welcomed the first flight with the highest honors in the aviation industry.

该直飞航线不仅大幅缩短旅途时间、提升旅行舒适度，更依托240小时过境免签政策，既为大同及周边游客赴俄旅游打开便捷通道，也为俄罗斯游客来大同观光搭建互动纽带，持续双向激活国际客流，推动两地文化交流与旅游业的协同发展。同时也是我市主动融入“一带一路”倡议、持续提升对外开放水平的重要举措。

The direct flight not only significantly reduces travel time and enhances comfort but also leverages the 144-hour visa-free transit policy. It opens a convenient channel for tourists from Datong and surrounding areas to visit Russia while serving as a bridge for Russian tourists to explore Datong, fostering two-way international passenger flow and promoting cultural exchange and collaborative development in tourism. This initiative is also an important step for the city to actively integrate into the "Belt and Road" initiative and further elevate its level of openness to the world. 

未来，云冈国际机场将持续拓展出境航线网络，积极引客入同，推动区域“交通+文旅”融合发展，为我市打造国际旅游热点门户城市增添民航动力。

In the future, Yungang International Airport will continue to expand its international route network, actively attract visitors to Datong, and promote the integrated development of regional "transportation + cultural tourism," adding aviation momentum to the city’s goal of becoming an international tourism hotspot.
