The Cross-Strait Cultural Relics and Archaeology Exchange Group Visited the Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestor Memorial Garden

On August 18th, the Cross-Strait Cultural Relics and Archaeology Exchange Group visited the Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestor Memorial Garden for an exchange tour. Led by the tour guides, the group visited major attractions such as the Root-shaped Screen Wall, three sets of sculptures, the central hall, the immigration relief sculpture, the stone Sutra pillars, and the Ancestral Hall, gaining a deep understanding of the scenic area's immigration culture, ancestral roots culture, and surname culture.

As the first site designated as a "Cross-Strait People-to-People Exchange Base of the National Taiwan Federation" in Shanxi Province, the Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestor Memorial Garden boasts rich cultural significance, attracting tourists from all over the country to trace their roots and offer ancestral sacrifices. Through this visit and exchange, experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait not only enhanced their understanding of the scenic area's culture but also deepened cooperation and exchanges in cultural heritage protection and research. In the next step, the scenic area will continue to leverage its role as a base, delve deeper into creating unique IPs centered on ancestral roots culture, tell the story of the Dahuaishu well, and attract more tourists from both sides of the Strait, further polishing the tourism brand of "No matter where you go, Hongtong is home."
