On August 30, a China-Europe freight train loaded with goods departed from Wenshui County, Lüliang City, Shanxi Province, and headed for Moscow, the capital of Russia. This is the first China-Europe freight train launched from Lüliang, an old revolutionary base.
This China-Europe train is loaded with 55 40-foot containers and will leave the country through the Horgos Port. It has a running distance of about 10,200 kilometers and is expected to arrive in 17 days. To ensure the smooth operation of the China-Europe train, the railway department and the shipping company scientifically planned the cargo assembly and loading plan, optimized the transportation organization process, and ensured the safe arrival of the China-Europe train.
The operation of this China-Europe train provides service transportation guarantee for the opening up of Lüliang, an old revolutionary base, and promotes the development of foreign trade.
