Introduction to Scenic Spots of Yellow River Tourism Route
Pianguan Laoniuwan: Located in Pianguan County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, the Yellow River enters Jin from here, and the Great Wall both inside and outside intersects here. The Jin Shan Meng Grand Canyon starts here, showcasing the vicissitudes of China's Loess Plateau topography. At the same time, there is also a magnificent landscape of flowing rivers. Laoniuwan is the place where the Great Wall shakes hands with the Yellow River and is one of the top ten most beautiful canyons in China. The geographical location of Laoniuwan has been very unique since ancient times. It was the forefront of Yang Liulang's defense of Piantou Pass in the Three Passes during the Song Dynasty. It is also one of the key roads for entering and exiting the customs when taking the west exit. It has the reputation of being the first village of the Yellow River entering Jin and the first county to be heard by a rooster. The water of the Yellow River flows out of the Hetao and turns through deep mountain canyons, rushing southward. The ancient Great Wall meanders eastward from here. The ancient castles, buildings, ferries, boardwalks, temples, and villages here are even more stunning. Pianguan Laoniuwan is a national AAAA level tourist attraction.
Qiankun Bay: Qiankun Bay is located at the border of Hehuili Village, Dashiyao Township, Yonghe County, Shanxi Province, and 53 kilometers south of Yanchuan County, Shaanxi Province. In 2005, it became the fourth batch of national geological parks.
The First Bay of China in Shilou: "The First Bay of the Yellow River in the World" is located in the Yellow River section between Majiapan, Xinguan Town, Shilou County, Shanxi Province and Sheyuli Village, Yujiahe Town, Qingjian County, Shaanxi Province. The best scenic spot is Majiapan, Xinguan Town, Shilou County, Shanxi Province. The Yellow River, which originally surged and flowed from north to south, turned from east to west and then straight south, creating an extremely majestic and beautiful circular bay with a circumference of 8 kilometers and nearly 360 degrees. Within the bay, the mountains floated like turtles on the turbid water, leisurely and carefree, giving people infinite imagination. On the east bank of the great bend, there are towering walls, and a winding path passes through the cliffs, telling the story of the vicissitudes of time for the children of the Yellow River.
