7.Kuixing Building

This temple was rebuilt in 2005. It's composed of two levels. The first level is for the God of Knowledge and the second level is for the God of Literature. If the students want to pass the exam, they can pray here.

8.Kehan Temple

This is Kehan Temple. Kehan was the name of an ethnic minority king. It means this area was ruled by an ethnic minority.

In the feudal society of China, the colors gold and yellow were reserved only for the emperor, so normal people cannot use them. So, if you see the statue whose face or body is golden, it represents he is an emperor or a Buddha, symbolizing the highest status.

9.Tunnel

The whole tunnel is 10 kilometers long. During the war, it was used for defending and hiding. Now, we have develop 1500 meters for tourists. The tunnel was built in the North Wei dynasty, and it's about 1500 years old. There are three levels inside the tunnel. The first level is 2 to 5 meters beneath the ground, and the second level is 10 to 15 meters. The deepest level is 20 meters below the surface. Some areas have low ceilings, please watch your head.

10.The Pagoda Tree

Now,we can see the special tree. The right part is Chinese pagoda tree and the left one is a willow tree. The pagoda tree is over 1000 years old and another tree is 70 years old.

11. The Colored Glaze

First, we can see the beautiful colored glazes. They were made in the Ming dynasty, Wan Li period, and are about 407 years old. They are very famous in China, and the peacock blue one is the most valuable.

12.Erlang God Temple

This is the last temple on our tour. It was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, Qian Long period , and it's over 200 years old. But the statues are new because the old statues were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Entering the temple, we can see the original paintings of 24 stories about the children learning to respect their parents or the old people.
