Nestled in the fertile Taiyuan Basin, nourished by the Fen River, Qingxu in Shanxi Province has cultivated grapes for over 2,000 years, earning its reputation as one of China's four most famous grape-producing regions. Known as the "Hometown of Grapes in China," Qingxu is celebrated for its thin-skinned, plump, and exceptionally sweet grapes—a natural summer delight.

Blessed with a mild climate, abundant sunlight, and significant diurnal temperature variations during the ripening season, Qingxu provides an ideal environment for grapes to accumulate sugar and develop rich flavors. The loose, well-ventilated sandy loam soil allows deep root growth, ensuring the vines absorb ample nutrients. These unique natural advantages give rise to Qingxu’s signature grapes, including Longyan, Muscat, Kyoho, and Beauty Finger—over 180 varieties in total. 

千年传承：从历史走向现代

From Ancient Roots to Modern Prosperity

自马峪乡被命名为“中国葡萄之乡”起，清徐的葡萄产业便迈入了规模化发展的新阶段。种植面积突破5万亩，年产量超8万吨，葡萄已成为当地农业的支柱产业。从传统的摆摊售卖到如今的直播电商，清徐人不断创新销售模式，让这颗“致富果”通过采摘体验和网络平台走向全国，带动乡村经济蓬勃发展。

Since Mazhuang Township, the core grape-producing area, was honored as the "Hometown of Grapes in China" in 1998, Qingxu’s grape industry has flourished. Today, vineyards p over 50,000 acres, yielding more than 80,000 tons annually, making grapes a pillar of the local economy. From traditional roadside stalls to modern e-commerce livestreams, Qingxu farmers have embraced innovation, expanding sales channels and bringing their "fruit of prosperity" to tables across the nation.
