As the most representative homestay in the southeastern quarter of Datong's ancient city, Nianxia · Li follows the traditional form of northern Shanxi dwellings and is laid out as a three-courtyard compound. At the entrance, flowing water and winding paths guide you in; the central courtyard leaves a wide open space—no elaborate landscaping, no wedding venues—simply letting sunlight filter through the branches and fall upon the stone pavement.
