Shanxi folk music is one of the very old tradhanxi folk musicitional folk arts.

It expresses the simple, sincere, bold and passionate love of the children of the Yellow Land.

“Jiaocheng Mountain”is a folk song that spread in Wenshui and Jiaocheng since the Qing Dynasty or earlier.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, this song was sung by the famous singer Guo Lanying and widely circulated throughout the country.

Shanxi folk music records culture and history in song, and accompanies the development and heritage of the nation and culture along the way.
