近日，2025年亚洲杯飞碟射击赛在山西临汾隆重举行，亚洲射击联合会主席谢赫·萨尔曼·萨巴赫出席开幕式。临汾市外办以此次赛事为契机，精心策划了一系列外事活动和文旅体验，向国际嘉宾展示了临汾深厚的历史文化和独特的自然风光，赢得了高度赞誉。

Recently, the Asian Shotgun Cup 2025 was grandly held in Linfen, Shanxi, with the attendance of Sheikh Salman Al Sabah, President of the Asian Shooting Confederation. Seizing the opportunity of the event, the Foreign Affairs Office of Linfen Municipal People's Government meticulously organized a series of diplomatic activities and cultural tourism experiences, showcasing Linfen’s profound history and unique natural scenery to international guests, earning high praise.

在临汾市博物馆，萨尔曼对丁村人牙齿化石、旧石器工具以及陶寺遗址的考古成果表现出浓厚兴趣。在参观青铜箭镞时，他感叹道：“几千年前就能铸造如此精密的箭镞，说明中国的射艺早已成熟，这或许是世界上最早的‘射击运动器材’。”平阳木版年画中手持弓箭的人物形象也让他倍感亲切，他提到弓箭在阿拉伯文化中同样是勇气与庇佑的象征，认为人类对精准的追求跨越了时空。

At the Linfen Museum, Salman showed great interest in the Dingcun Man’s tooth fossils, Paleolithic tools, and archaeological discoveries from the Taosi site. When viewing bronze arrowheads, he remarked, “Crafting such precise arrowheads thousands of years ago demonstrates the maturity of China’s archery skills—these might be the world’s earliest ‘shooting sports equipment.’” The depiction of archers in Pingyang woodblock New Year paintings also resonated with him. He noted that bows and arrows symbolize courage and protection in Arab culture as well, reflecting humanity’s timeless pursuit of precision.

在参观壶口瀑布时，萨尔曼对此壮美景色震撼不已。景区讲解员介绍了壶口瀑布的文化意义和《黄河大合唱》在此诞生的故事，萨尔曼现场学唱经典旋律，并称赞这样的景色和文化对全球游客具有极大吸引力。在乡宁云丘山，萨尔曼一行参观了世界罕见的万年冰洞群，对冰洞内如蓝宝石般璀璨的冰笋、冰柱连连称奇，称其“像走进了冰雪王国”。

During a visit to the Hukou Waterfall, Salman was deeply impressed by the magnificent scenery. The guide shared the cultural significance of the waterfall and the story of how The Yellow River Cantata was composed there. Salman even learned to sing a few lines of the classic melody on the spot, praising the site as a major attraction for global tourists. At Mount Yun in Xiangning, Salman and his delegation explored the world’s rare 10,000-year-old ice caves, marveling at the sapphire-like ice stalagmites and columns, describing it as “stepping into a kingdom of ice and snow.”

在云丘山的塔尔坡古村落，萨尔曼一行感受了中国古村落的独特魅力。萨尔曼欣赏了清代婚房内的鸳鸯锦被和手剪喜花，观看了传统鼓乐和乡宁民歌表演，还亲自尝试操纵皮影戏中的“孙悟空”剪影，感受中国民间艺术的魅力。他表示：“这里的古村落保存完好，民俗文化鲜活生动，是非常珍贵的遗产。”

In the ancient village of Ta’erpo at Mount Yun, Salman experienced the unique charm of China’s traditional villages. He admired the mandarin duck quilt and handmade wedding paper-cuts in a Qing-era bridal chamber, watched performances of traditional drum music and Xiangning folk songs, and even tried manipulating the shadow puppet of the “Monkey King,” immersing himself in the allure of Chinese folk art. He remarked, “The preservation of this ancient village and its vibrant folk culture is a priceless heritage.”

临汾的特色美食和非物质文化遗产也给萨尔曼留下了深刻印象。代表团成员对隰县皮薄肉厚、水分充足的玉露香梨赞不绝口。在临汾期间，所有参赛运动员还获赠了精美的“福禄临汾”非遗礼——手工雕刻工艺葫芦，寓意“福临汾泽”。这份礼物成为传播晋南文化、联结国际友谊的独特纽带，将临汾的魅力传向世界各地。

Linfen’s distinctive cuisine and intangible cultural heritage also left a lasting impression on Salman. Delegation members praised the juicy and sweet Yuluxiang pears from Xixian County. During their stay, all participating athletes received exquisitely crafted gift—hand-carved gourds symbolizing “blessings bestowed upon Linfen.” These gifts served as unique bonds spreading southern Shanxi culture and fostering international friendships, carrying Linfen’s charm to the world.

此次赛事不仅展现了临汾的开放形象，也为中国特色大国外交增添了亮丽的一笔。

The event not only showcased Linfen’s openness but also added a brilliant touch to major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics.
