Day 1

In the morning, you can visit Shi’s Grand Courtyard in Linfen City to experience the intangible cultural heritage project of Qing Dynasty residential architecture art. At noon, you can taste the intangible cultural heritage food of Fenxi County’s "steamed rice". In the afternoon, you can head to Lingshi County, Jinzhong City to enjoy the intangible cultural heritage skills of exquisite stone, brick and wood carving in the courtyard, or experience the Wang’s cloth art ,a comprehensive folk art from the Wang’s family. You can conclude your day with a Wang's tofu banquet for dinner.

Day 2

You can arrive at Qiao’s Grand Courtyard located in Qi County in the morning to immersively experience local yangko, paper-cutting and other intangible cultural heritage projects. Then you can go to TaiGuXian XinBingJi Food Co.,LTD to buy Taigu cake, one of the Shanxi intangible food. Finally you can come to the Brick Art Museum with Shanxi features in Qingxu County, Taiyuan to personally experience the brick carving, an intangible craftsmanship skill.

"Visit Qiaojiabao in the north and ShijiaGou in the south." You can go to the ShijiaGou Village to see Shi’s Grand Courtyard, a Qing Dynasty dwelling. The whole building complex seamingly integrates with the surrounding mountains , featuring scattered courtyards imbuded with the ruggged essence of the Loess Plateau. It has evolved into a mountain architecture classic and a symbol of architecture and scholarly.

If you want to appreciate the exquisite art of wood carving, stone carving and brick carving, you should walk into the Wang's Grand Courtyard. The ancient buildings and their three carvings here resemble to the solidified history of the art in Shanxi.

Taigu cake, as a traditional food in Shanxi, enjoys the reputation of "the King of Pastries". It is a necessary breakfast item for many Shanxi residents. Taigu cake features a crispy crust and a soft interior, and a bite can defy expectations. It is said that the Empress Dowager Cixi and many other historical figures were all fond of the ordinary-looking Taigu cake.

You can visit the Brick Art Museum with Shanxi features to personally experience brick carving production and touch the unassuming blue bricks, feeling the exquisite craftsmanship of both ancient and modern artisans.
