Data from Meituan and Dianping shows that online transaction values for catering group purchases by non-local consumers increased by over 48%, with page views for the local "Must-Try List" doubling and order volumes from non-local customers for listed restaurants growing by nearly 110%. The consumption boom during the Spring Festival holidays has brought new opportunities for the catering industry, which is expected to usher in broader development prospects by 2025, fueled by factors such as consumption upgrades and the integration of culture and tourism.
