Xinghua Village (Apricot Blossom Village) is located in Xinghuacun Town, Fenyang City, Lüliang—renowned as China’s famous “City of Wine.” Entering the Fenjiu Cultural Scenic Area, you can not only learn about the millennia-old history of Fenjiu liquor but also discover a vast apricot blossom forest quietly waiting in the spring light. Every year in mid-to-late March, when the apricot blossoms are in full bloom, the Xinghua Village in Fenyang hosts the Fenjiu Apricot Blossom Festival. During this time, the fragrance of flowers and the aroma of wine intertwine, while ancient-style architecture complements the cloud-like apricot blossoms—every snapshot becomes a timeless spring masterpiece. Visitors immersed here can truly experience the beautiful conception of “appreciating flowers and tasting wine in the April days”—a sip of crisp Fenjiu going down the throat, a view of blossoming apricot trees filling the eyes—this is Lüliang spring’s most unique charm.

北武当山

North Wudang Mountain

北武当山是北方道教名山，山间生长着野生桃花树。四月，山桃花盛开时节，一棵棵桃树千姿百态，粉白相映，点缀在山峦之间。漫步其间，仿佛行走在一幅流动的山水画卷中。自明朝以来，每年农历三月初三，周边民众都会汇聚北武当山，祭祀真武大帝，踏春祈福，这一传统逐渐形成了延续数百年的“三月三”庙会习俗。春日的北武当，既有漫山桃花的烂漫，也有香火缭绕的道教底蕴，更有代代相传的民俗温度。

North Wudang Mountain is a renowned Taoist mountain in northern China, with wild peach trees growing naturally on its slopes. In April, when the mountain peach blossoms bloom, each tree displays a myriad of postures, pink and white complementing each other, dotting the mountain ridges. Strolling through this scenery feels like wandering within a flowing landscape painting. Since the Ming Dynasty, on the third day of the third lunar month each year, local residents have gathered at North Wudang Mountain to worship the Zhenwu Emperor, go on spring outings, and pray for blessings. 随着天气渐渐转暖，每年4月，文水县12万亩梨花竞相开放，田畴遍地梨花香。南安镇作为吕梁市著名的水果产区，种植梨树已有多年历史。走进南安镇，犹如闯入一片花的海洋——漫天洁白、芳香四溢，洁白的梨花如云似雪，铺满山野田间。微风拂过，花枝摇曳，散发出阵阵清香，沁人心脾。站在梨园深处，闭上眼睛，听风声穿过花海，闻花香萦绕鼻尖，这一刻，春天便真正住进了心里。

As the weather gradually warms, each April, 120,000 mu of pear blossoms burst into bloom across Wenshui County, with fragrant pear blossom scent spreading across the fields. Nan’an Town, as a renowned fruit-producing area in Lüliang, has a long history of pear cultivation. Entering Nan’an Town feels like stepping into an ocean of flowers—vast whiteness as far as the eye can see, fragrance overflowing in all directions. The pure white pear blossoms resemble clouds and snow, blanketing the mountains and fields. When a gentle breeze passes by, the flowering branches sway, emitting waves of refreshing fragrance that seeps into the heart. Standing deep within the pear orchard, closing your eyes, listening to the wind passing through the sea of flowers, smelling the fragrance lingering at the tip of your nose—in this moment, spring truly takes root in your heart.
