Yuncheng, in Shanxi Province, lies in the Yellow River “Golden Triangle,” where Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan provinces meet. Here you can float effortlessly on the Yuncheng Salt Lake, climb the Zhongtiao Mountains for sweeping views, marvel at exquisite Yuan Dynasty murals, and explore the vast Xiezhou Guandi Temple, dedicated to the revered Three Kingdoms general Guan Yu. 春季：逛庙会、赏湖花（3月—5月）

Spring: Temple Fairs and Lakeside Blossoms (March–May)

玩法：每年春末，解州关帝庙春祭庙会热闹非凡，可观赏祭祀展演、品尝庙会特色小吃，顺道游览这座规模宏大的古建筑群。三月下旬至四月，运城盐湖周边的桃花、梨花次第开放，可沿湖骑行、徒步，一路繁花相伴。

Things to do: Every late spring, the Xiezhou Guandi Temple comes alive with its Spring Ceremony Temple Fair. Watch traditional ritual performances, sample the fair’s local snacks, and take the chance to explore this magnificent complex of ancient buildings. From late March through April, peach and pear blossoms bloom one after another around the Yuncheng Salt Lake, making it a lovely time to cycle or stroll along the lakeshore surrounded by flowers.
