Yingxian Wooden Pagoda was built 1,000 years ago. At that time, Yingzhou was close to the border between the Song and Liao dynasties. A large family in the Liao Dynasty built this pagoda to pray for blessings and keep watch over the border. The pagoda is entirely made of wood. Looking up from below, the brackets are like blooming lotus flowers. It has withstood thousands of years of wind, rain, earthquakes, and other disasters and still stands firmly. It is an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese architecture and demonstrates the superb wisdom of the ancients.
