China-Azerbaijan Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement to Take Effect Soon
《中华人民共和国政府和阿塞拜疆共和国政府关于互免持普通护照公民签证的协定》将于2025年7月16日生效。
The Agreement Between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports will come into effect on July 16, 2025.
根据协定,持有效的中国普通护照和阿塞拜疆普通护照人员,在缔约另一方入境、出境或者过境,单次停留不超过30日,每180日累计停留不超过90日,免办签证。
According to the agreement, holders of valid Chinese ordinary passports and Azerbaijani ordinary passports will be exempt from visa requirements for entry, exit, or transit in the territory of the other party, provided that the duration of each stay does not exceed 30 days and the total stay does not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period.
如需在缔约另一方境内单次停留逾30日或者在缔约另一方境内定居,或从事工作、学习、新闻报道等须经缔约另一方主管部门事先批准的活动,应当在入境缔约另一方前申请相应签证。
For stays exceeding 30 days per entry, or for purposes such as residence, work, study, or news reporting, prior approval from the competent authorities of the other party is required, and the corresponding visa must be obtained before entry.
