This Spring Festival, Shanxi So “City” – Jinzhong&Yangquan Edition
2025年乙巳蛇年，我们迎来了具有历史意义的人类非遗版春节，为我们世代相传的节日更添一份特殊色彩。山西省文化和旅游厅精心制作“山西非遗春节民俗图鉴”，向我们介绍山西春节非遗。翻开晋中&阳泉篇，这里不仅是面食、陈醋与优质苹果的产地，还藏着平遥古城的千年风华与阳泉娘子关的雄奇，每一处都散发着浓郁的传统年味。
In the Year of the Snake (Yi-Si) in 2025, we celebrate a historic Spring Festival inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list, adding a unique layer of significance to our time-honored festival. The Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province has specially launched the "Shanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Spring Festival Folk Custom Manual," introducing us to the province's intangible cultural heritage related to the Spring Festival. Upon opening the chapter on Jinzhong & Yangquan, we find that this region is not only renowned for its noodles, aged vinegar, and high-quality apples but also harbors the millennia-old charm of Pingyao Ancient City and the majestic scenery of Yangquan's Niangziguan. Every corner exudes a rich traditional flavor of the Chinese New Year.
晋中春节非遗代表性项目包含祁太秧歌、民间社火（南庄无根架火）、背铁棍（抬阁）等。其中，祁太秧歌是民间自编自演的小曲、杂说、歌舞、戏曲的综合体艺术。以农村生活故事、民间习俗、传闻软事等为题材，以优美的曲调和表演形式，真实地反映人民生活。阳泉春节非遗代表性项目包含春节（娘子关跑马排春节习俗）、鼓舞（平定武迓鼓）等。其中，春节（娘子关跑马排春节习俗）历史悠久，多以祭祀、祭奠祖先、除旧布新、迎喜接福、祈求丰年为主要内容。主要表演有报灯官、过大年、演戏酬神等节目。
The representative intangible cultural heritage projects during the Spring Festival in Jinzhong include Qitai Yangko, Folk Shehuo (Nanzhuang Rootless Fire Display), and Back Iron Stick (Taige). Among them, Qitai Yangko is a comprehensive art form that combines folk songs, storytelling, dance, and opera, all self-composed and self-performed by the people. Drawing inspiration from rural life stories, folk customs, legends, and anecdotes, it truthfully reflects people's lives through melodious tunes and performance forms. The representative intangible cultural heritage projects during the Spring Festival in Yangquan include the Spring Festival (Niangziguan horse racing and parade customs) and Drum Dance (Pingding wuya drum). The Spring Festival (Niangziguan horse racing and parade customs) boasts a long history, primarily focusing on sacrifices, ancestor worship, ridding oneself of the old to make way for the new, welcoming good fortune, and praying for a bountiful harvest. The main performances include announcing the lantern officer, celebrating the New Year, and staging plays to honor the gods.
同时为庆祝非遗春节，晋中市和阳泉市精心策划了一系列非遗庆祝活动。2025年2月5日—14日晚在榆次文化艺术中心举办“2025怡然见晋中戏曲闹新春”活动。演出内容包括晋剧、话剧和综艺演出。2025年1月22日—2月13日在平遥古城举办平遥中国年系列活动，包括观花灯，赏灯会、看大戏、包饺子及参与活动抽奖等。2025年2月13日（暂定）在娘子关镇下董寨村举办跑马、社火活动。2025年1月29日-2月15日在阳泉市城区小河村举办春节庙会、美食、彩灯活动。2025年1月29日-2月13日在荫营古镇打铁花。
