This Spring Festival, Shanxi So “City” – Jinzhong&Yangquan Edition
To celebrate the Intangible Cultural Heritage Spring Festival, Jinzhong City and Yangquan City have meticulously planned a series of events. From the evening of February 5th to 14th, 2025, the "2025 Enjoy Jinzhong: Opera Celebrates Spring Festival" event will be held at the Yuci Culture and Art Center. The performances will include Jin Opera, plays, and variety shows. From January 22nd to February 13th, 2025, a series of Pingyao Chinese New Year activities will be held in Pingyao Ancient City, including lantern viewing, lantern festivals, watching grand operas, making dumplings, and participating in raffle draws. On February 13th, 2025 (tentative), horse racing and shehuo (folk performance) activities will be held in Xiadongzhai Village, Niangziguan Town. From January 29th to February 15th, 2025, Spring Festival temple fairs, food, and lantern activities will be held in Xiaohe Village, Yangquan Urban Area. From January 29th to February 13th, 2025, iron flower performances will be held in Yinying Ancient Town.
