From November 2nd to 5th, the French International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo, hosted by the French Ministry of Culture and the French National Federation of Art Industries, was held at the famous art treasure trove, the Louvre in Paris. The Zhangbi Ancient Fortress Scenic Area in Jiexiu City, as the only representative of our province, was invited to participate in this exhibition. The batch of characteristic glass artworks and cultural and creative products exhibited by it are highly welcomed by people from all walks of life in the local area for their exquisite firing skills and auspicious meanings.

The International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo in France (Louvre) is one of the most important events in the world cultural heritage community, and has been successfully held for 27 sessions as of 2022.

As the first Chinese castle to make its debut at this exhibition, the Jiexiu Zhangbi Ancient Castle Scenic Area has prepared a large number of locally distinctive Jiexiu glass, mulberry leaf tea, mortise and tenon blocks, door god bookmarks and other handicrafts and cultural and creative products for exhibition. As one of the focal points of this grand event, Lu Yang, Chairman of Shanxi Kaijia Zhangbi Ancient Fortress Ecotourism Company, has received widespread attention from people from all walks of life in France.

"Coming to France for exhibition this time, we have experienced the profound cultural and historical heritage of France and even Europe, as well as the rich cultural and historical heritage. At the same time, we have also felt the French government's emphasis on cultural heritage protection. There are many related enterprises involved in cultural heritage protection and development, and the industry accumulation is quite profound. There are many places we can learn from here," said Lu Yang, With the help of this exhibition, people from all walks of life in France can have a close contact and understanding of Chinese culture. The next step is to contribute more to the inheritance and development of Sino French culture and castle culture, promote cultural exchanges between China and countries around the world, and share a cultural feast.

At the exhibition site, there were crystal clear and colorful Jiexiu glass artworks and cultural and creative products with Eastern characteristics, such as glass drum stools, glass roof ridges, and auspicious beasts. These not only reflect the exquisite skills of glass craftsmen, but also aroused strong curiosity among many international handicraft enthusiasts and practitioners, who stopped to watch and exchange ideas. Among them, the imitations of Jiexiu colored glaze "Net Red Beast" Xie Zhi, collected in Jiexiu City Museum, have attracted many local people because of their cute expression and cute shape, like the upper body image of "drama spirit". It is understood that Xiezhi is a mythical animal in ancient Chinese legends. It can distinguish right from wrong, good from evil, loyal to traitors, is a symbol of bravery and justice, and is a symbol of "fairness" and "fairness" in justice. Therefore, it is also called a "straight discrimination animal" and "touching evil".

Jiexiu is known as the "hometown of glass art". The firing technique of glass can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty and reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The production of architectural glass here has long been among the top in the country, playing an important role in promoting the development of ancient Chinese architectural glass. The architectural glass components of Zhangbi Ancient Fortress Scenic Area were mostly fired during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and are one of the pinnacle representative works of Jiexiu's glass art. Among them, the glass roof of the main hall of the Kong Wang Xing Temple and the peacock blue glass monument are the most representative.
