Zhangbi Castle is invited to participate in the French International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo
In 2008, Jiexiu's glass firing technique was selected as a national intangible cultural heritage. In recent years, Kaijia Group, a subsidiary of Zhangbi Ancient Fortress Scenic Area, has closely focused on expanding and strengthening the glass brand, and established Shanxi Kaijia Houtu Cultural Development Co., Ltd. While striving to integrate modern design, it adopts traditional color matching and firing techniques, making it "fly into ordinary people's homes" in a friendly and popular manner, gradually expanding into the fields of home design, tabletop display (hanging), art appreciation, and more closely related to modern life, Meets the market's demand and positioning for cultural and creative gifts.
At the same time, the company also takes inheriting, innovating, and developing glass firing techniques as its own responsibility, combining ancient techniques with modern design, restoring and firing glass works such as the twelve round sense sculptures of the Yuan Dynasty at Lingshi Zishou Temple and the twenty-eight star official sculptures of the Yuan Dynasty at Jincheng Yuhuang Temple. The content is highly localized and folk oriented, which is not only an innovative act of cultural inheritance, but also an innovative act of cultural relic revitalization and utilization.
At present, these glass works are exhibited at the Glass Vision Museum in Zhangbi Ancient Fortress Scenic Area, which is also the first glass art themed museum in our province. There are more than 200 glass art pieces in the exhibition hall, and the exhibited artworks have bright colors, demonstrating the saying of "Shanxi Glass Watching Jiexiu" with strength.
