4.Laoniuwan

The place where the Great Wall and the Yellow River first “shake hands” is in Laoniuwan. Where is Laoniuwan? It is in Pianguan County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. The Yellow River performs an almost 360-degree magnificent spiral dance here, making it one of the top ten most beautiful canyons in China. Today, the villagers of Laoniuwan still lead a simple and leisurely life, with their feet firmly planted in the soil. The traces of years are almost unchanged and preserved in their original state.

5.Shengtian Lake

Located in Ruicheng County, Yuncheng City, Shengtian Lake is the largest national wetland reserve in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. It serves as a primary wintering habitat for numerous rare and endangered wild animals in northern China, as well as an important stopover habitat for migratory birds. The lake boasts rich wildlife resources. In recent years, with tens of thousands of swans wintering and resting here, Shengtian Lake, also known as the "First Lake on the Loess Plateau," has truly become a swan lake of great renown.

6.Yunzhu Lake

Yunzhu Lake is located in Yunzhu Village, Yunzhu Town, YusheCounty, Jinzhong City, 88 kilometers away from Taiyuan City. The vast lake provides ample space for lake tours ,boating and sightseeing, making it a great destination for fishing, leisure and various water sports!
