In spring, Mount Yun is a spectacle of blooming wildflowers and gentle breezes. It is perhaps the earliest place in Shanxi to welcome the arrival of spring. While other places still fluctuate between cold and warmth, the mountain hollows of Mount Yun are already dotted with fresh green and nascent wild blossoms. Wander through ancient villages hidden amidst the burgeoning greenery—centuries-old settlements nestled in the valleys, where blue stone paths and rammed earth walls create a charming contrast with the tender spring shoots. 壶口瀑布

春日来临、万物复苏，黄河壶口瀑布即将迎来春季最壮观的景象——桃花汛！每年三月下旬至四月上旬，黄河上游冰凌消融，积蓄一冬的河水奔涌而下，形成汹涌春汛。此时，两岸山桃花正盛放，粉白的花海与奔腾的金色瀑布交相辉映，绘就出一幅金瀑与花海交织的壮丽画卷。

As spring arrives and all things revive, the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River is about to welcome its most spectacular scene of the season—the spring thaw flood! From late March to early April each year, the melting ice and snow in the upper reaches of the Yellow River surge downstream, forming a powerful spring freshet. At this time, the mountain peach blossoms on both banks are in full bloom, their pink and white sea of flowers creating a magnificent tableau with the golden, galloping waterfall.

洪洞大槐树

三月的洪洞大槐树景区，千年古槐萌发新绿，枝头嫩芽如点点翠玉，与连翘的金黄、杏花的粉白、木兰的淡紫等早春花卉交相辉映，形成“金黄花浪涌槐园，粉白云霞绕景区”的壮丽景观。登上高处俯瞰，春色里的大槐树如一位慈祥的老者，静静守护着这片土地，也守护着亿万移民后裔的精神原乡。

In March, at the Hongtong Big Pagoda Tree Scenic Area, the ancient locust tree bursts forth with fresh green, its tender buds like dots of emerald jade. They intertwine with early spring flowers—the gold of forsythia, the pinkish-white of apricot blossoms, the lilac hues of magnolias—creating a magnificent landscape described as “golden waves surging around the pagoda tree garden, pink and white clouds drifting through the scenic area.” Ascend to a high vantage point and look down: amidst the spring colors, the Big Pagoda Tree stands like a kind, elderly guardian, silently protecting this land and the spiritual homeland of hundreds of millions of emigrant descendants.
