Chinese Embassy in Iceland Sends Letter to Shanxi Province Thank for the Splendid Cultural Performance in Iceland

近日，中国驻冰岛大使馆致信山西省，对山西省文艺演出团赴冰岛进行交流演出表示衷心感谢。

Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Iceland sent a letter to Shanxi Province, expressing sincere gratitude for the cultural exchange performance by the Shanxi Art Troup in Iceland.

信中写到，1月21至25日，在山西省省委副书记、省长金湘军同志的亲自关心下，应中国驻冰岛大使馆和中冰文化协会邀请，山西省派出由省文化和旅游厅副厅长张志仁率领的山西文艺演出团一行18人访问冰岛，为冰社会各界、旅冰华侨华人等呈上精彩绝伦、韵味十足的文化盛宴，将中冰友好交流、共庆蛇年新春活动推向高潮。

The letter stated that from January 21st to 25th, under the personal care of Comrade Jin Xiangjun, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanxi Provincial Committee and Governor of Shanxi Province, and at the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in Iceland and the Chinese-Icelandic Culture Association, Shanxi sent an 18-member art troupe led by Zhang Zhiren, Deputy Director of the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province, to visit Iceland. The troupe presented a splendid and charming cultural feast to various sectors of Icelandic society and overseas Chinese in Iceland, pushing the friendly exchanges between China and Iceland and the celebration of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake to a climax.

访冰期间，代表团为冰观众带来鼓舞、二胡、秧歌等极具地方特色的节目。分别出席使馆举办的“欢乐春节”2025新春招待会暨慈善文艺演出、“温暖迎春·共庆中国年”华侨华人新春招待会，赴冰兰达科茨学校与学生们交流。还带来精心制作的宣传册、特色文创等，在招待会现场、机场等声情并茂、寓教于乐地进行宣介，扩大山西知名度和中华文化影响力。

During their visit to Iceland, the delegation presented programs with strong local characteristics such as drum dances, erhu performances, and yangko dances to Icelandic audiences. They attended the "Happy Chinese New Year 2025" reception and charity performance held by the embassy, the “Warm Welcome to 2025 Chinese New Year” reception for overseas Chinese, and visited the Landakots School in Iceland to interact with students. Additionally, they brought carefully crafted brochures and cultural and creative products with distinctive features, promoting Shanxi and the influence of Chinese culture with enthusiasm and education at receptions and airports.

此次文化交流活动的成功举办，离不开山西省委、省政府的大力支持与悉心指导，离不开代表团成员高度的政治自觉、扎实的专业修养和严谨的工作作风。此次交流活动有力地促进了中冰两国人民之间的友好互信，很好地宣介了习近平文化思想和人类命运共同体理念。
