86358贾家庄短片周（英文名：86358 JIA VILLAGE Short Film Festival）是由贾樟柯艺术中心于2017年发起的一项专注于华语电影短片的节展活动，每年八月在山西汾阳贾家庄举行。

The 86358 JIA VILLAGE Short Film Festival is a festival dedicated to Chinese-language short films, initiated by the Jia Zhangke Art Center in 2017. It takes place annually in August in Jia Village, Fenyang, Shanxi.

作为纯粹的华语短片展示、交流与推广平台，短片周致力于发掘青年创作者潜力，为电影产业输送新鲜血液，同时为观众呈现活泼、新颖的华人影像作品。活动以“主竞赛”“本土力量”“特别展映”为核心单元，聚焦全球华语短片创作，通过展映、学术交流和荣誉评选，推动青年电影人才的成长。

As a pure platform for showcasing, exchanging, and promoting Chinese-language short films, the festival is committed to discovering the potential of young creators, injecting fresh talent into the film industry, and presenting lively and innovative Chinese visual works to audiences. With its core sections—”Competition,” “New Power of Shanxi,” and “Special Screening”—the festival focuses on global Chinese-language short film production. Through screenings, academic exchanges, and awards, it fosters the growth of young filmmakers.

“86358”这一数字组合蕴含着独特的意义：“0358”是山西汾阳的电话区号，“86”则代表中国。短片周以数字命名，寓意电影文化交流能够突破地域限制，为基层文化注入新的活力与面貌。

The numerical combination “86358” carries a unique significance: “0358” is the telephone area code for Fenyang, Shanxi, while “86” represents China. 贾樟柯艺术中心：文化回流的实践者

Jia Zhangke Art Center: A Practitioner of Cultural Revitalization

短片周的发起方——贾樟柯艺术中心，由导演贾樟柯于2016年创建，2017年10月正式开放。中心位于汾阳贾家庄村恒鼎水泥厂原址，保留工业结构的同时，通过创新设计打造沉浸式艺术空间。作为国内首批落户村庄的现代艺术中心之一，它集展览、图书馆、影院和剧场于一体，通过丰富的文化活动，推动文化资源从大城市向基层流动。

The organizer of the festival, the Jia Zhangke Art Center, was founded by director Jia Zhangke in 2016 and officially opened in October 2017. Located on the former site of the Hengding Cement Factory in Jia Village, Fenyang, the center preserves the industrial structure while transforming it into an immersive art space through innovative design. As one of China’s first modern art centers established in a rural village, it integrates exhibitions, a library, a cinema, and a theater. Through diverse cultural activities, it promotes the flow of cultural resources from major cities to grassroots communities.

今年，第九届86358贾家庄短片周将于8月21日至26日举办。

This year, the 9th 86358 JIA VILLAGE Short Film Festival will be held from August 21st to 26th.

历经八届的发展，86358贾家庄短片周已成为国内重要的短片电影展之一。它不仅推广华语短片，还关注短片的历史与未来，致力于搭建青年影人与产业、教育、观众之间的桥梁，更是文化赋能基层的生动实践。随着第九届活动的临近，它将继续为青年影人和观众带来更多精彩与可能。

After eight editions of development, the 86358 JIA VILLAGE Short Film Festival has become one of China’s most important short film festivals. It not only promotes Chinese-language short films but also explores their history and future, building bridges between young filmmakers and the industry, education, and audiences. It is a vivid example of cultural empowerment at the grassroots level. As the 9th edition approaches, it will continue to bring more excitement and possibilities to young filmmakers and audiences alike.
