2025 Shanxi Cultural and Tourism Development Promotion Event Concludes Successfully

2025年山西省文旅发展主题推介活动于9月8日在晋城开幕。本次活动以“山河之上是生活”为主题，汇聚文旅产业各方力量，旨在通过文旅融合、产业对接和促进消费等举措，为山西文旅高质量发展注入新活力。

The 2025 Shanxi Cultural and Tourism Development Promotion Event opened in Jincheng on September 8th. Centered around the theme "Above Mountains and Rivers Lies Life," the event brought together all parties from the cultural and tourism industries. It aims to inject new vitality into the high-quality development of Shanxi's cultural and tourism sector through measures such as integrating culture and tourism, facilitating industry connections, and stimulating consumption.

山西省文化和旅游厅厅长王爱琴在推介中表示，山西自然风光壮美、文化底蕴深厚，拥有云冈石窟、应县木塔、平遥古城、五台山等众多历史文化遗产，以及丰富的古建、壁画和长城遗迹，堪称“没有围墙的博物馆”。此外，山西也是“民歌海洋”“戏曲摇篮”和红色热土。

Wang Aiqin, Director-General of the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province, highlighted in her promotion that Shanxi boasts magnificent natural landscapes and a profound cultural heritage. The province is home to numerous historical and cultural relics such as the Yungang Grottoes, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Pingyao Ancient City, and Wutai Mountain, along with abundant ancient architecture, murals, and sections of the Great Wall, earning it the description "a museum without walls." Furthermore, Shanxi is also known as an "ocean of folk songs," a "cradle of opera," and a land rich in revolutionary history.

晋城作为承办地，正推动文旅产业由“观光游览”向“文旅康养”转型，提升景区品质，打造精品民宿，引导游客从“看风景”转向“体验生活”。2025年7月，晋城A级景区接待游客181.33万人次，实现门票收入3189.32万元，旅游经营性收入6361.59万元，同比显著增长。

As the host city, Jincheng is driving the transition of its cultural and tourism industry from "sightseeing" to "cultural tourism and wellness," improving the quality of scenic spots, creating boutique homestays, and guiding tourists from "enjoying the scenery" to "experiencing life." In July 2025, Jincheng's A-grade tourist attractions received 1.8133 million visitor visits, generating ticket revenue of 31.8932 million yuan and operational tourism revenue of 63.6159 million yuan, representing significant year-on-year growth.

晋城市长薛明耀以“八个有”概括晋城特色：有诗有画、有滋有味、有情有义、有福有乐，突出其自然景观、文化遗产、人文底蕴和城市发展成就。活动中，《星宿织神话》沉浸式演出融合科技与文化，展现晋城深厚底蕴。

Xue Mingyao, Mayor of Jincheng, summarized the city's distinctive features with "Eight Haves": have poetry and painting (scenic beauty), have flavor and fun (interesting experiences), have affection and righteousness (time-honored virtue), have fortune and joy (happiness and wellness), highlighting its natural landscapes, cultural heritage, humanistic legacy, and urban development achievements. During the event, the immersive performance "Weaving Myths from the Constellations" blended technology and culture to showcase Jincheng's profound heritage.
