Sharing Shanxi with the World: Gift of the Loess, Fruits Across the Seas

山西，这片黄土高原上的沃土，凭借独特的地理环境和气候条件，孕育出了众多优质水果。近年来，山西的水果不仅在国内市场备受青睐，更以其卓越的品质走出国门，远销海外。2024年，山西水果出口量再创新高，前11个月共出口8774批次、14.4万吨，同比增长38.6%和3.8%，销往全球78个国家和地区。

Shanxi, a fertile land on the Loess Plateau, has nurtured numerous high-quality fruits thanks to its unique geographical environment and climatic conditions. In recent years, Shanxi’s fruits have not only gained popularity in the domestic market but have also made their way overseas with their exceptional quality. In 2024, the export volume of Shanxi fruits reached a new high, with 8,774 batches and 144,000 tons exported in the first 11 months, marking year-on-year increases of 38.6% and 3.8%, respectively, and reaching 78 countries and regions worldwide.  

临汾：黄土高原的“水果明珠”

Linfen: The "Jewel of Fruits" on the Loess Plateau

临汾是国家农业部门规划的苹果优势产业区，海拔800-1200米的高原环境，光照充足，昼夜温差大，为水果生长提供了得天独厚的条件。

Linfen is designated as an advantageous apple production zone by China’s agricultural authorities. The high-altitude environment of 800–1,200 meters, abundant sunlight, and significant temperature differences between day and night provide ideal conditions for fruit cultivation.

1.苹果“很大”

1.Apples: "Big and Sweet"

临汾的“冰糖心”红富士苹果以其个大、脆甜、汁多而闻名。2024年11月，30余吨红富士苹果从临汾启程，远赴加拿大多伦多，抢占圣诞和新年市场。蒲县作为临汾的优质果品产区，近年来培育了“蒲香红”“寒富”等全国金奖苹果品种，其中“被子垣苹果”已获得有机认证。2024年11月28日，蒲县苹果首次出口尼泊尔，出口量达53080斤，果径均为65mm-75mm的优质红富士。

The "Honeycore" Red Fuji apples from Linfen are renowned for their large size, crisp texture, and juicy sweetness. In November 2024, over 30 tons of Red Fuji apples were shipped from Linfen to Toronto, Canada, targeting the Christmas and New Year markets. Puxian County, a premium fruit-producing area in Linfen, has cultivated award-winning apple varieties such as "Puxiang Red" and "Hanfu," with the "Beiziyuan Apple" achieving organic certification. On November 28, 2024, Puxian apples were exported to Nepal for the first time, with a shipment of 53,080 jin (approximately 26.5 tons) of premium Red Fuji apples measuring 65–75 mm in diameter.

2.香梨“很脆”

2. Pears: "Crisp and Fragrant"

隰县的玉露香梨是山西水果的另一张名片。它以库尔勒香梨为母本、雪花梨为父本杂交培育而成，肉质细嫩、无渣、香甜可口。2024年，隰县玉露香梨种植面积达23万亩，栽培和挂果规模均为全国第一。同年9月12日，一批玉露香梨首次出口加拿大，标志着其品牌战略的全面升级。

The Yulu fragrant pear from Xixian County is another flagship product of Shanxi. A hybrid of the Korla fragrant pear (mother) and the Snow pear (father), it boasts tender flesh, a sweet taste, and no residue. In 2024, the cultivation area of Yulu fragrant pears in Xixian reached 230,000 mu (approximately 15,333 hectares), ranking first in China in terms of both cultivation and fruiting scale. On September 12, 2024, a batch of Yulu fragrant pears was exported to Canada, marking a milestone in the brand’s global expansion.    

运城：北方“百果园”的出口新篇

Yuncheng: The "Orchard of the North" Expands Globally

运城位于北纬35度水果生产“黄金带”，素有“中国北方百果园”之称。这里的水果种类丰富，从草莓、樱桃到油桃、葡萄，四季不断。

Located on the golden fruit-growing belt at 35°N latitude, Yuncheng is known as the "Orchard of Northern China." Its diverse fruit offerings, from strawberries and cherries to nectarines and grapes, ensure a year-round harvest.  

1.油桃“品种多”

1. Nectarines: "Diverse Varieties"

万安镇是华北地区最大的连片油桃种植基地，种植规模达3.6万余亩。自1994年引进油桃种植以来，现已形成早、中、晚3大系列、20多个成熟品种。万安油桃以其香脆可口、果香浓郁的特点，深受国内外市场欢迎。

Wan’an Town is renowned as the "Land of Nectarines," with a cultivation area of over 36,000 mu (approximately 2,400 hectares), making it the largest contiguous nectarine production base in North China. Since introducing nectarine cultivation in 1994, the town has developed three series (early, mid, and late-season) and more than 20 mature varieties. Wan’an nectarines are celebrated for their crisp texture and rich aroma, earning them a strong reputation in domestic and international markets.  

2.鲜杏“诱人”

2.Fresh Apricots: "Irresistible"

2024年4月17日，运城临猗县的鲜杏首次出口俄罗斯，出口量达5428公斤。这批鲜杏经运城海关严格检验检疫后顺利通关，成为山西省鲜杏出口的“破冰之旅”。

On April 17, 2024, a batch of fresh apricots weighing 5,428 kg from Linyi County was exported to Russia after passing rigorous inspections by Yuncheng Customs. This marked Shanxi’s first-ever export of fresh apricots, paving the way for future international sales.

3.冬枣“很红”

3. Winter Jujubes: "Red and Juicy"

临猗县的冬枣以颜色红润、甜脆多汁著称。2024年10月，临猗特贡冬枣专业合作社的冬枣出口至越南、泰国、美国等地，出口价格比国内市场每公斤高出1元。为确保品质，出口冬枣需满足颜色泛黄带红、成熟度达30%以上的标准。

The winter jujubes from Linyi County are known for their vibrant red color and crisp, sweet flesh. In October 2024, winter jujubes from the Linyi Special Tribute Winter Jujube Cooperative were exported to Vietnam, Thailand, the United States, and other countries, fetching prices 1 yuan per kilogram higher than in the domestic market. To ensure quality, exported winter jujubes must meet strict standards, including a yellowish-red hue and a maturity level of at least 30%.

With growing international demand and continuous brand development, the global journey of Shanxi’s fruits is bound to reach even greater heights.
