Huangwei Mountain
Huangwei Mountain is a distinctive and famous scenic area in the southern Taihang Mountains, renowned for its perilous peaks, karst caves, ancient trails, waterfalls, stunning gorges, and forests of rare yew trees. Often referred to as the "Fairyland of Huangwei," it boasts a forest coverage rate of over 90% and an average annual temperature of 8–10°C, with summer temperatures ranging from 20–24°C. The mountain features towering peaks, dense forests, and mysterious caves, with a cultural history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. Overlapping with the Yew Nature Reserve, it has been designated a provincial geological park due to its unique geological formations. The area is home to thousands of attractions, including geological relics, ancient temples, and cultural landscapes.
