On the fertile land of Jincheng, clusters of plump, crimson hawthorn berries are writing a new chapter in rural revitalization. As one of China's eight major hawthorn-producing regions, Zezhou County is renowned for its distinctive "Zezhou Red" hawthorn, which carries a rich historical heritage while also radiating vibrant industrial energy in the new era.

A Geographic Treasure, Nurturing Premium Hawthorn  

“泽州红”山楂以其红圆个大、果肉粉红、酸甜可口的特点被誉为“山楂王”，2013年更荣膺国家地理标志产品。这片保护区域得益于温带大陆性季风气候的滋养——春季日照充足，夏季雨热同期，为山楂的生长提供了得天独厚的条件。单果重达20克的高品质果实，不仅富含果胶，更兼具药食同源的价值，其开胃消食、降脂降压的功效深受消费者喜爱。

The "Zezhou Red" hawthorn, celebrated for its large, round shape, pink flesh, and balanced sweet-sour flavor, is hailed as the "King of Hawthorns." In 2013, it earned the prestigious status of a National Geographical Indication Product. The protected growing area benefits from a temperate continental monsoon climate—abundant sunshine in spring and concentrated rainfall in summer—creating ideal conditions for hawthorn cultivation. Weighing up to 20 grams per fruit, these high-quality berries are rich in pectin and valued for their dual role as both food and medicine, prized for their digestive benefits and ability to lower blood pressure and lipids.

泽州县16个乡镇中有10个乡镇深耕山楂产业，7700余亩种植基地通过老树复壮、深刨树盘等技术创新实现产量跃升。更引人注目的是，当地以党支部领办合作社为纽带，打造“泽州红”果串品牌：统一标识提升形象，制定标准保障质量，通过集体采购降低农户成本。柏杨坪村等示范点的成功实践，让小小山楂成为带动增收的“致富果”。

Hawthorn cultivation ps 10 of Zezhou County’s 16 townships, covering over 7,700 acres.
