作为晋水的源头，晋祠以难老泉潺潺流水环绕其间，带来湿润与清凉。园中一百二十余种树木郁郁葱葱，绿意遮天蔽日，有效阻隔炎热。古建筑群错落有致，厚实的墙体与高挑的屋檐不仅承载千年文化，更在烈日下隔出一片荫凉。行走其间，仿佛时间也慢了下来，心随泉响渐渐静定。

As the source of the Jinshui River, Jinci Temple is surrounded by the murmuring flow of Nanlao Spring, offering moist coolness. With over 120 species of lush trees providing shade and reducing temperatures, the ancient architectural complex—with its thick walls and high eaves—effectively blocks the intense sun, creating expansive cool areas.

太山龙泉寺：静听钟泉洗尘烦

Longquan Temple on Taishan Mountain

背倚太山的龙泉寺，是太原最古老的佛教圣地之一。寺后“龙泉”终年喷涌，泉水温度常保持在十几摄氏度，清冽如玉。炎夏至此，掬一捧入口，顿觉神清气爽；耳畔晨钟暮鼓回响山间，更让人心静如水。于此避暑，不仅是身体的凉意，更是一场心灵的沐浴。

One of the oldest Buddhist temples in the Taiyuan area, Longquan Temple is nestled against Taishan Mountain, with the “Dragon Spring” gushing behind it. The spring water maintains a constant temperature of around 10°C year-round. On a hot summer day, sipping the cool spring water and listening to the morning bells and evening drums bring clarity and tranquility to both mind and spirit.
