"Shanxi Meets the World" Exchange Event for Tourism and Leisure Cities Successfully Held

9月8日，“晋·见世界”旅游休闲城市高质量发展对接活动于山西晋城市凤城康养示范区圆满举办。外国驻华使馆官员，国际旅游组织机构、世界旅游城市代表以及海内外业界学者专家、企业机构、旅行商等200余人共聚一堂，共话全球旅游休闲产业新发展。

On September 8th, the "Shanxi Meets the World" High-quality Development Exchange Event for Tourism and Leisure Cities was successfully held in the Fengcheng Health and Wellness Demonstration Zone of Jincheng City, Shanxi. More than 200 participants gathered together, including officials from foreign embassies in China, representatives from international tourism organizations and world tourism cities, as well as domestic and international industry scholars, experts, enterprises, institutions, and travel agents, to discuss new developments in the global tourism and leisure industry.

活动由山西省文化和旅游厅、山西省人民政府外事办公室及晋城市人民政府共同主办。山西省文化和旅游厅副厅长赵军龙介绍了山西文旅资源优势及发展举措，包括构建全域旅游公路网、推动“数智+文旅”融合、优化入境旅游服务等，并表示山西愿与国内外业界深化合作，实现共赢。

The event was jointly hosted by the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shanxi Province, and the Jincheng Municipal People's Government. Zhao Junlong, Vice Director-General of the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province, introduced Shanxi's cultural and tourism resource advantages and development initiatives, including building an all-for-one tourism road network, promoting the integration of "digital intelligence + culture and tourism," and optimizing inbound tourism services. He expressed Shanxi's willingness to deepen cooperation with domestic and international industries for mutual benefit.

山西省人民政府外事办公室副主任李彦强调，旅游是民间外交的重要载体，山西正以其独特魅力吸引更多国际游客，成为促进各国人民相互了解的桥梁。在文旅融合背景下，山西以开放姿态拥抱世界，积极推动旅游休闲城市高质量发展。

Li Yan, Vice Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shanxi Province, emphasized that tourism is an important vehicle for people-to-people diplomacy. Shanxi is attracting more international tourists with its unique charm, serving as a bridge to promote mutual understanding among peoples of different countries. Against the backdrop of cultural and tourism integration, Shanxi is embracing the world with an open attitude and actively promoting the high-quality development of tourism and leisure cities.

山西省晋城市人民政府党组成员张军对嘉宾表示欢迎。他指出，晋城紧紧围绕建设国际知名文化旅游目的地的目标，推进文旅康养融合，加快打造宜居宜游城市。目前，全市年接待游客超4000万人次，旅游收入达363亿元，文旅康养产业已成为高质量发展的重要支柱。晋城期待以此次活动为契机，与各方加强资源整合、市场共享和品牌共建，探索休闲度假新路径、打造文旅融合新场景，培育消费新动能，共同推动文旅产业高质量发展。

Zhang Jun, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Jincheng Municipal People's Government, welcomed the guests. He pointed out that Jincheng is closely focused on the goal of building an internationally renowned cultural tourism destination, promoting the integration of culture, tourism, and wellness, and accelerating the development of a livable and touristic city. Currently, the city receives over 40 million tourist visits annually, generating tourism revenue of 36.3 billion RMB. The cultural tourism and wellness industry has become a crucial pillar for high-quality development. Jincheng looks forward to using this event as an opportunity to strengthen resource integration, market sharing, and brand co-building with all parties, explore new paths for leisure vacations, create new scenarios for cultural and tourism integration, cultivate new drivers for consumption, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry.

巴拿马共和国驻华大使雷鸣表示，中国拥有巨大客源市场和丰富管理经验，巴拿马作为地理位置优越、旅游资源多样的目的地，可成为通往拉丁美洲的门户。他坚信加强两国旅游合作将促进经济发展并深化文化交流。

Miguel Lecaro Bárcenas, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to China, stated that China possesses a huge tourist market and rich management experience. Panama, as a destination with a superior geographical location and diverse tourism resources, can serve as a gateway to Latin America. He firmly believes that strengthening tourism cooperation between the two countries will promote economic development and deepen cultural exchanges.

在随后的“探索千年山西，链接世界旅程”推介环节，晋城、太原、大同、运城四市分别展示文旅资源与合作方向，多角度呈现山西魅力。活动现场还发布了由山西省文旅厅与携程集团联合推出的山西入境游指南，为国际游客提供全方位旅行参考。

In the subsequent promotion session titled "Exploring Millennia-Old Shanxi, Connecting World Journeys," the cities of Jincheng, Taiyuan, Datong, and Yuncheng respectively presented their cultural and tourism resources and cooperation directions, showcasing Shanxi's charm from multiple angles. The event also saw the release of the Shanxi Inbound Travel Guide, jointly launched by the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province and Trip.com Group, providing comprehensive travel references for international tourists.

此外，凭借《黑神话：悟空》带动古建游的出圈效应，山西文旅获2025携程旅游创新贡献奖。厅企双方共同启动山西旅游“Super计划”，设立专项基金，以“政企合作+创新融合”模式助推文旅高质量发展。山西省文化和旅游厅诚邀各界前来考察洽谈、挖掘商机，深化了解与合作，携手推进互利共赢。

Furthermore, leveraging the breakout effect of the game "Black Myth: Wukong" in promoting ancient architecture tours, Shanxi's Culture and Tourism Department received the 2025 Trip.com Tourism Innovation Contribution Award. The Department and the enterprise jointly launched the Shanxi Tourism "Super Plan," establishing a special fund to boost high-quality cultural and tourism development through a "government-enterprise cooperation + innovation and integration" model. The Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province sincerely invites all sectors to visit for inspections, negotiations, and exploring business opportunities, aiming to deepen understanding and cooperation and jointly advance mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
