China Open Returns to World Snooker Tour in Taiyuan in August 2026

世界斯诺克巡回赛（WST）正式宣布：中国公开赛将于2026年8月重磅回归，时隔六年重返官方排名赛赛历。赛事落户山西太原，8月7日在太原市滨河体育中心开幕，8月8日至16日进行正赛。总奖金超120万英镑。

The World Snooker Tour (WST) has officially announced the return of the China Open to its ranking event calendar in August 2026, marking the tournament's comeback after a six-year hiatus. The event will be held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The opening ceremony will take place on August 7 at Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center, with the main competition running from August 8 to 16. The total prize fund exceeds £1.2 million.

本次赛事由世界职业比利和斯诺克协会、中国台球协会、山西省体育局、太原市人民政府及华舰体育控股集团等联合主办。罗尼·奥沙利文、马克·威廉姆斯、约翰·希金斯、肖恩·墨菲、贾德·特鲁姆普等顶尖球员将悉数出战，以赵心童为代表的中国斯诺克军团也将主场亮相。

The tournament is co-organized by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, the Chinese Billiard Sports Association, the Sport Bureau of Shanxi Province, the People's Government of Taiyuan Municipality, and Huajian Sports Holding Group Co., Ltd. Top players including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Williams, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy, and Judd Trump are set to compete, while the Chinese snooker contingent, led by Zhao Xintong, will also play on home soil.

WST主席史蒂夫·道森表示，中国公开赛回归令人振奋，尤其是首次在体育氛围浓厚的太原举办。华舰体育相关负责人称，将把赛事打造为融合国际水准与三晋特色的体育文化盛会。

WST Chairman Steve Dawson expressed his excitement over the return of the China Open, especially as it will be held in Taiyuan, a city known for its sporting passion and strong snooker atmosphere. A representative from Huajian Sports stated that the event will be shaped into a sports and cultural gala blending international standards with the distinctive character of Shanxi.
